• Use as a salve on skin burns and to stop bleeding.
• Use internally to help with stomach ailments, intestinal problems or to alleviate mucous membranes.
• Cleavers is a diuretic herb that encourages urination to reduce the volume of blood to relieve congestive heart failure.
Usually taken as a tea, but can be eaten or ground fresh. Equally as suitable as an extract or capsule and may be lightly sprinkled on food as it has a fresh taste. Directions: To make a tea, pour one cup of boiling water over two teaspoons of cleavers herb. Cover and steep for three to five minutes.
