Arnica - 1/2oz
Product Description
Can be used externally as a component of salves, ointments and other preparations to help reduce fever and swelling in injuries, strains, dislocations, contusions, black eyes, as well as rheumatic muscle and joint problems. As a tincture, it can also revive tired feet.
It also has pain relieving properties, and should only be applied to unbroken skin.
Not to be used for long term use.
To make an herbal compress: pour ¼ cup of boiling water over 2 teaspoons of arnica and steep for 10 to 15 minutes, then strain.
Tincture: approximately 1 part herb to 10 parts alcohol. Foot bath: 1 teaspoon of tincture to a pan of warm water.
Oil: 1 part dried herb in 5 parts plant oil
Ointment: 1 part arnica oil to 4 or 5 parts base
